Dear potential
Wheels Racing Team Sponsor:
My name is Jerriod
Blanchard and I am the owner of the Wheels Racing, a Pro-Stock
Motorcycle Team, and I am currently seeking sponsorship. I chose
the name Wheels Racing because eight years ago at the age of
21 I was paralyzed from the neck down in a work related accident.
Luckily, I am able to drive my wheelchair which gives me the
ability to be at the track and pursue a lifelong dream of mine.
Lifelong friend
Jimmy Randolph has been riding for me since the beginning. Jimmy
started his racing career out in BMX racing where, at the age
of 5, he became LA State Champion. Next, in his teen years, Jimmy
switched to riding motocross and moved through the ranks quickly.
Eventually I talked him into pursuing motorcycle drag racing.
At that time we started bracket races, and went on to win a few
local events. I then went on to purchase a Top Gas bike, which
runs in the 8.20 index in the quarter mile. We went on to racing
the Texas Shootout circuit. Without making the last race of the
year, Jimmy finished in the top five.
Last November
we went on to further our potential and attended George Bryces
Pro-Stock Riding School. George Bryce said that Jimmy definitely
has the ability to be a Pro-Stock rider, and went on the issue
Jimmy a NHRA pro-license. I then made the decision to purchase
a new Pro-Stock Bike from Harry Lartigue. The bike has a new
top-of-the-line
Vance and Hines motor with the latest performance updates. Along
with the bike, we got a custom painted carbon fiber Suzuki body,
a large custom trailer, an enormous amount of tools and much
more.
In 2005 we
started the AMA/Prostar Drag Racing Series. Jimmy is now running
a little over seven seconds at 190 miles per hour. So far Jimmy
has not qualified lower than fourth, and is currently holding
fourth in points. The goal for the year is for Jimmy to be "Rookie
of the Year."
So far, my
investments have reached the $150,000 mark. With Jimmy showing
so much potential it would just be a shame to see Jimmy and my
dreams go up in smokes because of lack of funds. AMA/Prostar
races are aired on ESPN, the Outdoor Channel and the Speed Channel.
There are also many magazines that feature coverage of these
races. This amount of publicity would benefit any business, as
does any type of sponsorship. If you feel your business would
be interested in providing any sponsorship, please contact me at the following: |
